Are you searching for an engaging, relevant and beneficial workshop for your festival?
Are you trying to connect with a younger audience of film makers?
Here at the International Student Film Organization we are extremely passionate about sharing distribution opportunities with young film makers. We know how tough it can be and that very few student film makers get the chance to showcase their work to the industry. One of our core aims is to increase the visibility of student films, so we want to do our best to show how and where to distribute films so that they get noticed!
We are proud to announce that the ISFO is now offering a one hour interactive workshop which provides an overview of the different low-budget distribution opportunities for young film makers. Whether film makers are thinking about promoting their work online, at festivals or in their local community, we are hoping that this talk will help them to discover new possibilities.
So...
What is it?
A one hour lecture on distribution opportunities for young film makers with a limited budget but high ambitions.
Where does it take place?
At your festival as part of the usual festival program.
What are the benefits for the festival?
Engaging a young, up-and-coming audience of film makers as well as festival promotion via the ISFO site www.futureinfilm.com and the ISFO newsletter. We are connected to 300 film schools all over the world as well as over 2000 individual students.
What does it cost?
It is important for us to spread the word about the opportunities which are available to student film makers so the lecture itself will not cost you anything. To help us with our expenses, we ask you to reimburse or provide travel and accommodation for our speaker
To have a look at some of the topics we like to talk about, please check our blog entry from July: ‘Why to make use of online film platforms’. Our team consist of film makers who have been involved in the student film market for years and we are eager to share our experience.
